Prompt: Last Harvest

For a lot of places in the Northern Hemisphere, the growing season is coming to an end, and the time for harvesting the last of Summer's bounty is upon us. (In my neck of the woods, we're looking at the first overnight freeze.)

What have you harvested this year?
How are you saving your harvest so that it lasts through the winter?
What other preparations are you making before the snow falls?

I'm hoping you all don't take this to mean just food-stuffs. Just like how we plant seeds of change in the spring, we should reap harvests of more than just food in the fall.

Get out there and enjoy the last of the daylight, before the long, cold winter sets in.

  1. I consider this blog extremely interesting and stimulating. In this period, we, Roman Pagans, are celebrating Pomona and the beneficial gifts of the Nature, as material/immaterial harvest.
