So we've talked about what we, ourselves, are leaning anew.... but what about our children?
What do you teach your children regarding your beliefs?
Do you chose to home-school your children? Why? How do you think this will affect them as they grow up?
It's so nice to see somebody thinking of pagan children. So much of the information out there is about adult or teen pagans. I am a witch and my homeschooled daughter is learning to craft in her own way. My son is eight and loves to make wands and other tools of the trade. Their interest has never been pushed and should they chose another path I will respect their decisions. That's a core element of my faith, There are many paths. Thanks for this thought provoking question!

ReplyDeleteI too prefer to gently share my path without pressure. I find over & over again that children intuitively know & understand. Our job as parents is to keep them from forgetting.

ReplyDeleteA little disappointed in the way this one was phrased. Many pagans do not have or want children. Maybe it's just the impression I got reading it.
