Prompt: Ethical Eating

How does your faith guide you in how you buy and eat food?

Are you vegan (or vegetarian) because of the ethics your faith imposes? Or have you chosen to be that way for other reasons?

Do your beliefs even have anything to do with how you eat?

  3. I was going to pass on this topic because around here it seems we have discussed and discussed vegetarian, vegan and meat until I was tired of it. Then I saw some calves penned up in a farmer's yard last night, being raised as veal with not room to run or live. That reminded me of these stories, and why I give thanks when I eat anything.

  7. I've tried vegan eating in the past. But I have found that my body doesn't thrive on that diet. When I eat meat, dairy, fish & foul, I thank them for their sacrifice and thank Great Spirit for providing the sustenance.
