Prompt: Resolutions

Today, 30 December, is the end of Mercury's current retrograde period. Seems about right that we be setting new goals for ourselves, whether in the form of New Year's Resolutions or simply as results of the inner journey from the retrograde period.

So, feel free to share whichever you are comfortable with... Personal New Year's resolutions, goals for you and your projects, or steps you plan to take in your spiritual journey, in 2011 and beyond.

Hey, I just thought of two interesting prompt ideas. What do you think?

1. Talk about your relationship with the God. Witchcraft seems heavily Goddess-based, but what are people's relationships with their God like? Maybe they don't believe in Him at all? (If you haven't created one yet, on the following week you could have everyone discuss their relationships with Goddess.)

2. It's become common to hear people say that they are non-Wiccan witches. If you are one of these people, what causes you to make that distinction? Perhaps discuss why you feel Wicca is not right for you? If you are Wiccan, what makes you identify with Wicca as the appropriate religion for you, and how do you feel about non-Wiccan witchcraft? If you're neither, perhaps discuss your thoughts on the religion of Wicca in general. Has it influenced your Pagan beliefs at all?

I, for one, would enjoy writing for both :D But of course that's because they're my ideas, hehe.
