Since this is not my personal blog, I won't get too personal in my 'about me' stuff...but here are a few things that might interest you as to who finds a way to post a new pagan-themed prompt each week here.
1.I served 5 years in the US Navy, which is where I discovered Wicca and Paganism in the first place.
2. I chose to go by the name "Sunfire" the summer after ninth grade, when I cut my hair spiky short and died it bright reddish orange. The name has stuck, both online and in person, since then.
3. I will not drive a car. I have many different reasons for this, ranging from the environment, the exercise I get, the money I save, and a bad experience I once had driving.
4. I have learned that most Pagans are eclectic. Very few, it seems, actually (and strictly) follow one specific tradition. And this is the beauty of being a Pagan.
5. Positive thinking and the Law of Attraction have become my way of life. Or rather, I've always been that way, and now other people are catching on. I'm rubbing off on them, thanks to things like The Secret.
6. I'm a barefooter. I'd say dedicated, but I can't do it all the time. Between work requiring shoes, and certain stores I frequent that have asked nicely, not to mention the snow in the winter, I can't do it 24/7. But I do enjoy it as much as possible. Most outdoor excursions involve my shoes coming off.
7. I am horrible at keeping up with other people. I've selected to "follow" a ton of blogs through Blogger, but I can't remember the last time I've gone and read any updates. Shame on me.

My picks for Kreativ Bloggers:

Prompt: Education

For those that are raising children, does your faith play a role in what you teach you kids? Perhaps you home school and integrate your faith with other teachings... or perhaps you simply teach your children regarding your faith outside of the traditional classroom.

For those without children, are faith and education related at all? The main thing that comes to mind is secondary education based on some aspect of your faith. A friend, I recently learned, is getting a degree in Metaphysics, and it got me curious as to how many other people have even considered or pursued such an education.

Prompt: Lord and Lady

A rather simple and hopefully straight-forward prompt selected at random from my list of prompts. Here's hoping it gets you thinking through the keyboard....

What is your relationship to the Lady and the Lord (or whatever you call the divine God and Goddess)?

Or, if you do not honor 2 sides of one whole, what is your relationship with the Divine Spirit that connects us all?

Prompt: Pagan Pride

All over the country, and even in some other countries, Pagan Pride Days can be found somewhere in the late summer to early fall. Last time I saw this question, it came up around the same time of year, so it makes sense for me to post it now....

In regards to Pagan Pride Day events and the like, "Do public gatherings serve your faith... or are they just big parties that serve the ego?"

I once heard someone comparing PPD to a Gay Pride Event, as a way to "shove our beliefs down everyone's throat", but I know there's got to be more to these events than that....

Prompt: Abortion

I'm delving into the somewhat controversial subject list for today's prompt.... While I'd love to see EVERYONE respond, I understand if you choose to NOT write about this.

How do you feel about abortion?
Does your spiritual path influence your opinion of abortion? Howso?
