I sincerely apologize for not posting a prompt last week. Seems the hubbub of the end of vacation made me lose track of the day, and it totally slipped my mind.
On another note, my creativity level has been a little higher than usual, and I'm getting some custom orders done (Breath of the Dragon), which leads me into this weeks prompt.
How does your creativity level relate to your spiritual path? Have you gotten more in touch with your creative side because of your journey (perhaps out of necessity for ritual items)?
Or, if you've always been the creative type, has your 'portfolio' of creations changed a lot since you started your pagan journey?
The premise
Prompt: Nature Escape
Everyone needs to get away from the daily life sometimes, and more often than not, Pagans need it more. An escape into Nature, even if just for a couple hours, or a whole day.
I am grateful to live someplace that these nature escapes abound. In fact, today the boyfriend and I are hiking up Saddle Rock. While it is exercise, and the goal is to show him the Valley from above, it will also be a great nature escape. Reconnecting with nature is just what we need while on vacation.
What kind of nature escapes do you have where you are? Do you have a local trail that you can simply take a walk on to escape? Or perhaps you have some neat hiking nearby... Or maybe you are one of the lucky ones that can simply escape into your own backyard, literally. Share pictures if you have them.

Prompt: Mundane Beauty
Today's prompt is a little different. It's more of a challenge, I think.
Make your blog post today about the beauty surrounding you, hidden within the mundane. It could be something you see or do every day, that suddenly feels magical. Tells us a story, and help us to feel that magic too.
Beauty is everywhere, we just have to take the time to notice it, and recognize it as such.

Prompt: Independence
Pathetic, I am, for not keeping up with everyone's postings... Shame on me, I'm sorry.
This week, since it's almost the 4th of July (US Independence Day) talk to us about independence in your spiritual path:
Is it important for you to take the journey alone?
Do you work/study with a coven, then practice on your own?
What kind of things need to be done alone, and which are best done in groups?
What do you do most often (work in groups or alone)?
Or, if those questions don't strike the writing muse in you, just take a few moments to ponder "independence in your spiritual path" and write whatever you feel compelled to share.
Someday soon, I'd love to take the time to read everyone's replies. I'd also like to write my own replies to each of these in my own pagan journey blog.... I might get to that eventually.... I am glad to see there are still people coming back each week with postings, though, and it is for YOU that I do what I can to keep this blog running.
